Project DAV Override

The KVL on an intervention can be overridden and in turn, this updates the DAV whilst keeping the asset worktype unchanged.

Add a new intervention and select the work type.

Action buttons

CAV Multiplier

To view the multiplier for this worktype, select settings from the header bar, then select Technologies & Worktypes from the sidebar followed by Work Types.

Action buttons

Find the work type that was added, then select the edit icon to view the CAV multiplier (Affected SEUs Multiplier).

Action buttons

In the above example, the affected SEUs multiplier is 0.5 (50%) - only 50% of the SEUs will be changed by this worktype for the intervention.

DAV Multiplier

Each intervention as a category (or multiple categories) assigned based on the worktype when it is created.

To view the categories, select Edit Intervention from the Calendar view. In this case, the category is WT5X External X% new (SEU).

Action buttons

To view the Categories, select Settings from the header bar, then select Impact Data Sets from the sidebar followed by Categories.

Action buttons

Select INT CP7 Categories for Interlockings, or LX CP7 Categories for Level Crossings.

Find the category that was applied to the intervention, and select the Edit icon to view the multiplier.

Action buttons

In this instance, the Activity SEUs Multiplier is 0.5 (50%).

Multiple Categories

Interventions may have multiple categories. If multiple INT or LX categories are assigned to an intervention, these DAV multipliers would stack.

Volume Profiles

To see the result of the multpliers, select Commercial followed by Volume Profiles from the sidebar.

In our example, the intervention had an SEU count of 128. This can be viewed in the Intervention Area section of the Edit Intervention Modal.

Action buttons

From Volume Profiles, we can select to display CAV data. This shows the SEU count multiplied by the CAV multiplier.

In our example, the SEU count is 128 x 0.5 which becomes 68 SEUs.

Action buttons

Changing the graph data to DAV, we now have the Delivered Activity Volume.

In our example, the original SEU count is 128, multiplied by 0.5 for the CAV multiplier and finally multiplied by 0.5 for the DAV multiplier.

The post-intervention SEU count can be overriden from the Edit Intervention Modal.
