Interlocking / LX Interactions
Interlocking based interventions can have an impact on Level Crossing interventions within the same workbank. The below is an example of interactions that take place between Interlocking and Level Crossing interventions.
A due date is set for Control System renewal for the interlocking. This includes recontrol for the Level Crossing on the same Asset Area.
If a manual intervention is scheduled on the Interlocking this will also include the recontrol for the Level Crossing. Providing this is within the defined year buffer, the automatic intervention will be removed providing the Work Type covers the work required on both the Intervention and Level Crossing.
If this intervention is then moved outside of the defined year buffer, the automatic intervention will then be re-added.
If manual adjustments are made to the Level Crossing recontrols intervention, this will be detached from the Interlocking project.
