Telecoms is a standalone discipline within Rail BI.

Telecoms access is assigned through Auth Service as Rail BI access for the Telecoms user group and an appropriate role. The role controls which Telecoms business cases the user can view or edit.

Telecoms options can be created from within Business Cases when Telecoms is enabled for the user group.
Telecoms must be selected as a discipline when creating the option. This can be done by clicking enable disciplines when selecting the option area.
When creating the option, the Select Telecoms section will be displayed. This allows Telecoms asset areas to be added to the option.
Once the option area has been defined, additional Telecoms areas can be added. The general option area rules apply when changing an existing option; see Creating Options.
