Delivery planning tasks
Open delivery planning
From the rollout calendar, select an intervention and choose Delivery. Alternatively, choose Commercial, then Delivery Reporting, and select the delivery icon for the intervention.
Add delivery estimates
Select BP Costs & Volumes. Find the intervention, then select the add or edit button in the Edit BP column.
If the intervention has no BP estimate or OP record, choose Add Estimate. If it already has an OP number, choose Change Proposal, then open the BP Costs & Volumes section.
For a new estimate, enter the proposer, proposal date, approver, approval date, and any notes. Select the appropriate Efficiency Settings and Price Settings.
Select By Year to enter an annual total, or By Period to enter individual financial period values. If the intervention has a unit-rate forecast, select Populate from unit rate forecast. The annual forecast is distributed across the 13 periods in each financial year.
See Adding Estimates for more information.
Add delivery volume
The Volumes section displays the calculated CAV and DAV for the intervention. To enter a different delivery volume, select Enter claimed CAV and enter the value in Claimed CAV. Select Use calculated CAV to return to the calculated CAV.
The volume claimed-in date is taken from the intervention start date. Calculated DAV is displayed for reference.
For WT5x interventions, select the WT5x Assets tab and use the WT5x Volume Calculator. Select Save & Propose Changes to update the work type or volume from the calculated result.
Add an OP number or project code
On the Summary tab, use the Code field. Select the plus or pencil icon, then enter the OP number. If an OP number is not available, select Generate Project Code.
The code is saved when you leave the field. Use the Change Proposal workflow for later changes to a coded intervention.
Save delivery estimates
For a direct estimate, select Save. For a change proposal, select Save As Draft, Propose, or Propose & Approve, depending on the approval route and your permissions.
The intervention should then show BP costs and volume in the BP Costs & Volumes table instead of the Unit-rate forecast status.
For more detail on the delivery modal, see Delivery Modal. For the shorter estimate-entry instructions, see Adding Estimates.
