Workbank Settings
Train Workbank settings can be viewed / edited from the calender view by selecting the Edit icon.
These can also be viewed by selecting a project / package and clicking Edit Project.
There are three different sections availble in the settings menu.
Batch Overrides In Option
Batch overrides displays any manual date overrides for the deployment stages.
To add override dates (or edit current dates), select the Edit icon on the batch to be updated.
Start and end dates for FIC, Steady State and Driver Training can be added or edited.
To save changes, click Save. To discard any changes, click Cancel.
TOC RFP In Option
TOC RFP defines the earliest date that any deployment can be made for the specified TOC.
To add a new TOC, select the Add TOC RFP date dropdown and select the TOC. A new modal will now be displayed to enter the date.
Stages & Deploment Strategies In Rail BI
Editing a Deployment Strategy will override the National Deployment Strategy for that project.
If a new NDS is added, the costs will need to be defined in a cost dataset.
This tab displays the information relating to constraints and deployment strategies.
Earliest Start Date is the earliest date a project can be entered from.
Train Expiry is the longest amount of time a train may remain in service before being replaced.
Sequencing constraints details the rules applied to each deployment stage.
Deployment Stragey
Deployment Strategy allows the duration of each deployment state to be set on a worktype basis.
To add new deployment information (or edit current data), select the Edit icon on the worktype to be updated.
The duration of each stage can now be added or edited. To change the duration unit, click the dropdown box to toggle between weeks or months.
To save changes, click Save. To discard any changes, click Cancel.
