Telecoms What If Scenarios

What If Scenarios can be used to explore changes to a workbank without changing the live plan. The general workflow is to duplicate an option, make changes, and review the resulting outputs.

Telecoms supports the shared Import From Option workflow. From the Telecoms calendar, open the Add menu and select Import From Option. Select a source option, then choose whether to replace all interventions, replace only selected control or funding periods, or copy blockers only. Select the shared area or Telecoms asset locations to include. Use Dry Run first when you need to verify the import without changing the destination option.

Review the settings differences and any target renewal-date differences before continuing. A confirmed import changes the destination option and may require a rebuild or recache, so use it only when the destination option and replacement scope are correct.
